We do something some other soap makers don't, this bar is a light tan color as you can see in the second photo where the center is tan where the outer area is brown. This bar is fully tan when first made but over the curing time and beyond the bar naturally turns the rich brown color you see in the photos. This is because it has vanilla in the fragrance blend. What makes us different is we don't try to stop this natural reaction with a chemical stabilizer. Besides, we like the nice brown color they turn out!
